Terms of Service

1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [operator's legal name], who runs Shorts Studio AI. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use it for a company, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13, or the minimum age for online services in your country, and have a parent's permission if you're under the age of adulthood. Keep your sign-in safe; you're responsible for what happens in your account. One free trial per person.

3. Free trial

A new account gets a 7-day free trial with limited credits and storage. After it ends, new work pauses and you have 3 days to choose a plan. If you don't, your projects and files are deleted and can't be recovered. We keep your email and basic account records, so the trial can't be used again. Please download anything you want to keep. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That also deletes your work straight away and ends your plan, and any credits left are lost.

4. Plans, credits and payment

• Paid plans renew each month and are charged until you cancel. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
• Credits pay for AI, processing and storage. Plan credits expire when the month renews; bought credits don't expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
• Estimates of what credits buy are only a guide; real use depends on the video and the options chosen. Work may stop when credits run out.
• Except where the law says otherwise, payments and used credits aren't refundable. Nothing here limits refund or cancellation rights you have by law.
• We may change prices and plans. We'll tell you before a price change affects your subscription, so you can cancel first.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload and the Shorts you make. You give us permission to store, process, copy and change that content only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and to post it where you ask.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you add, including videos you link to, music and fonts, and permission from the people shown. You're responsible for what you publish and for following the rules of the platforms you post on.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright;
• make content that is hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative or violent;
• deceive people, including impersonating someone or passing off fake footage or voices of real people as genuine;
• send spam or get around another platform's rules;
• attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service, get around its limits, or create accounts to get more free trials.

7. AI-made results

The service uses AI to transcribe, write, choose moments, research and make pictures and voices. AI can be wrong and similar results may be given to others. Check everything, especially facts, before you publish. We don't promise that results are accurate, unique or free of third-party rights, or that they will get views or income.

8. Stock media and other services

Stock clips, photos and music come from third parties under their own licences, which you must follow. Other services you connect, such as YouTube or Instagram, have their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.

9. Our service

We own the software, design and brand of Shorts Studio AI. We may change or remove features, and some, such as direct posting, may only be available on certain plans. The service may sometimes be unavailable. Keep your own copies of important files.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or others at risk, and we'll tell you unless the law or safety prevents it.

11. Disclaimers and liability

As far as the law allows, the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or a platform acting against your account. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights or liability that can't be limited by law, including consumer rights.

12. Claims caused by your content

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs, as far as the law allows.

13. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will give notice of important changes; continuing to use the service means you accept them. They are governed by the laws of [country and courts], without taking away mandatory protections of the country you live in.
